Huawei was able to outperform Apple in the second quarter of this year and became the second largest smartphone manufacturer in the world after Samsung aims to surpass Samsung next year.
CEO Huawei said in an interview today that the company could become number one in the smart phone market and be the largest manufacturer of smart phones in the world in the fourth quarter of 2019.
He also said that the initial forecast that the company will sell 180 million smart phones by the end of the world, but the main goal is to exceed sales 200 million smart phones and added that the series of P20 phones have achieved good sales as the company sold 9 million units since the launch of the phone in April.
