Egypt .. The start of drilling operations in the area of the temples of the Pharaohs for the seventh century BC

The Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities, in collaboration with Kafr El-Sheikh University, announced the start of excavation operations in Tal El-Fara'in area, where previously discovered pieces of a monument to the founder of the 26th Dynasty, Pharaoh Basmatik I.

We expect future discoveries to open a new page in the history of Kafr El-Sheikh, "said Abdel Nasser Hijazi, director of the Kafr El-Sheikh antiquities department.

Al-Fara'in hill in the governorate of Kafr El-Sheikh in northern Egypt included two cities and a large religious center. Excavations in this area, which lasted for many years, revealed traces dating back to the Pharaonic families (18-20) until the last state (family 26-31).

In 1988, during one of the excavations, an ancient temple of the gods and Edgite was discovered. But Herodit wrote about the existence of three temples in this area. Archaeologists hope to find out soon.
