Volvo began producing 34 new models of the Polestar1, and plans to conduct crash, weather and road assessments on the first fleet of new models before launching them on international markets.

The Polestar 1 is to be fitted with a 4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder turbocharger and a supercharged petrol engine that drives the front wheels and corresponds to two independent electric motors at the rear, allowing for torque when needed.
