Liverpool midfielder Nabi Keita is absent for two weeks after suffering a hamstring injury while playing for his country, according to local Guinean reports.
Keita was forced out of the pitch on the back of one of his teammates during a meeting with his Rwandan counterpart in the qualifiers for the African Nations Cup last Tuesday.
The injury comes in the wake of another injury suffered in the back during Liverpool's Champions League match «Champions League» in front of Naples earlier this month, which ended the defeat of the «Reds».
If Keita, 23, is out of action for two weeks, he will not play Liverpool in front of Huddersfield Town in the Premier League on Sunday.
Keita will also miss the Champions League game against the Red Star Belgrade team on Wednesday. This means that the first return of the international Gini will be against Arsenal on November 3, if he fully recovered from injury.
Keita's injury adds to the concerns of German coach Juergen Klopp after Egyptian international Mohammed Salah Jinnah injured Ayman, Senegal's Sadio Mani and Dutchman Virgil Van Dyke.
