Manchester United striker Gabriel Jesus has extended his two-year contract to stay with the club until 2023, Manchester City said on Friday.
The 21-year-old has scored 24 goals in 53 appearances in all competitions since joining City in January 2017 and helped the club win Pep Guardiola's league title last season.
"I can say that the best decision I made in my life was to join Manchester City because I have been developing as a player and a person since I was here," Jesus told the City website.
"Pep played a big part in my signing and the club as well. "City is a huge club and it grows bigger every day so I want to thank everyone."
Jesus, who played for Brazil at the World Cup last month, returned to City with City this week in preparation for the Community Shield match against Chelsea, the English FA Cup champion.
