Sources close to the talks told Bloomberg that GEMS Education is set to go ahead with an initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange that may be announced this week.
The group declined to offer a purchase of a stake in a private equity firm, the sources said.
The company can be valued at $ 4 billion or more and is owned by founder Sunny Varkey, Blackstone #, Fajr Capital and Bahrain Holding.
Other banks that manage the offering include Bank of America, Credit Suisse, JPMorgan Chase and Emirates NBD.
