World number two Rafael Nadal has joined Spain in the Davis Cup quarter-final against Germany in Valencia next month.
The 31-year-old has not taken part in the tournament since five-time champions Spain helped to return to the top of world tennis by beating India in 2016.
Spain captain Sergey Bruguera chose Nadal, Pablo Cariniu Busta, Roberto Bautista Agot, David Ferrer and Feliciano Lopez.
Nadal, who won 16 Grand Slam titles, withdrew from the Australian Open in January after reaching the quarter-finals due to injury.
The Davis Cup quarter-finals will be held on April 6-8.
