Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of Suez Canal University, accompanied by Major General Yasin Taher, Governor of Ismailia, Dr. Omar Adly, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Practical Research, Lu Xiaobeng, Dean of the Beijing College of Information Technology, and Waleed Saifuddin, Executive Director of Kuwait's Sheikh Abdullah Al Nouri Association, Al-Rihani, Head of Education Sector, Misr Al-Kheir Foundation, and Mohammed Abdul Rahman, Deputy Managing Director, Misr Al-Khair Foundation.
The college is the first of its kind at the level of Egyptian universities and one of the fruits of the Egyptian-Chinese relations in cooperation with the Foundation of Egypt Good, and the college is ready to receive students with the beginning of the new academic year 20182019.
Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, President of Suez Canal University, stressed that the main objective of the College is to maximize the role of technical and technological education in the service of industry and the national economy and to contribute to achieving comprehensive and sustainable development in the face of rapid development in all technological sciences. Technological applications to meet the needs of mega-projects in the Canal and Sinai region have been established as a unique model for a technical college at the level of Egyptian universities, a copy of the Technological Technological College in Beijing.
The President of the University said that the College includes 7 major buildings, of which 3 buildings have been completed, namely, Education Building 1, Educational Building 2 and the Workshop Building as a first stage. There are two buildings under construction as a second stage and two buildings. Mechatronic Technology The study of the college depends on the semester system. The percentage of practical hours studied by the student is 60%. The theoretical courses represent 40% of the total number of hours for each program.
