Hierro defends De Chaya

Spain coach Fernando Hierro defended goalkeeper David de Chia after his mistake in the Portugal match on Friday.
"It is not easy to be twice late, go back and move forward," Hierro said in remarks carried by the Spanish daily Marca.
"We are a team, one of us, and we will not leave it behind," he said.
"We have overcome all kinds of difficulties and adversities. The team had confidence in themselves. We had a personality. We did not stop trusting ourselves and that's important."
"I think we took an important step forward, it was important to come back," he said.
"It's good, no matter what happened, I think everyone is in good shape, I'm very satisfied with everyone," said Diego Costa.
