BMW has announced the design of one of the high-speed hyperlip capsules, which can carry passengers at speeds of up to 1200 km, when launched in 2020.
BMW Designworks, the automotive creative consultancy, collaborated with Virgin Hyperloop One to create its vision for high-speed travel capsules.
According to the Daily Mail website, the prototype capsule is equipped with adjustable leather seats and compact touch screens, along with ground lighting that can help travelers find their way. There are also self-controlled reading lights.
The BMW branded capsules provide an overview of the luxury conditions within future transportation, which can be launched in Dubai over the next two years.
The low-friction "Hyperloop" design means passengers will be able to travel in 140 km high pressure pipes between Dubai and neighboring Abu Dhabi in 12 minutes, a 90-minute drive.
